How do Unlimited Lookup plans work?

How do Unlimited Lookup plans work?

On an Unlimited Lookup plan, lookups are not metered and exports are. You can reveal as many contacts as you need inside RocketReach, but taking that data out uses Export Credits, and those are limited.

Who this article is for: customers on an annual plan with Unlimited Lookups, and anyone considering one.

Unlimited Lookup Credits and Unlimited Annual Lookups are two names for the same thing. This article uses Unlimited Lookups throughout.

What data is unlimited, and what data is not?

The table below shows which activities use credits on an Unlimited Lookup plan:

When your Export Credits are gone you can still look up as many contacts as you need in the web app and the browser extension — what stops is taking the data out.

I’m on an Unlimited Lookup plan. Do MCP lookups cost me credits?

Yes. Unlimited Lookups covers lookups in the web app and the browser extension. MCP draws on your Export Credits, and those are limited. Every person (person export) or company (company export) record you access through MCP uses one Export Credit.

MCP works great for exploring and scoping and easily building large lists using Natural Language in your AI tool.

Export Credits used through MCP cannot be refunded or replaced, including when they are spent accidentally or by someone else using your connection. Check your balance before running a large MCP request.

Is it really unlimited?

Yes, for lookups. Explore freely — we encourage you to perform as many lookups as you’d like.

One limit applies: a fair usage cap of 10,000 lookups per month, which exists to prevent abuse and protect service quality for all our customers. Most people never come close to it.

If you work through contacts very quickly you may see a temporary limit warning before reaching that figure. Wait a few moments and continue looking up contacts one at a time. If the message persists, wait longer.

If you regularly need more than 10,000 contacts in a 30-day time-frame, our API plans are a better fit. Email sales@rocketreach.co to explore this option.

Does Unlimited Lookups include phone numbers?

It depends on whether your plan includes phone data. Unlimited Lookups removes the limit on how many contacts you can unlock; it does not by itself determine what data each contact returns.

If your plan uses Premium Lookup Credits, your lookups return email addresses and phone numbers where available. If your plan uses Standard Lookup Credits, they return email addresses only, and you would need a +Phone plan for phone data.

Exporting a contact with a phone number uses the same single Export Credit as exporting one with only an email.

Is an Unlimited Lookup plan right for me?

It may suit you if you need more contacts than a monthly plan includes, will access contact data steadily over several months, and are comfortable paying once a year for the best value per contact.

Can I get Unlimited Lookups with monthly billing?

No. Unlimited Lookups is only available on plans billed annually.

I used all my Export Credits. What now?

You can still unlock new contact data with your unlimited lookups. Focus on activities that stay inside RocketReach, and avoid CSV downloads, integrations, the API and MCP until your credits reset.

To purchase additional Export Credits you will need to upgrade to a larger plan at www.rocketreach.co/pricing.  If you are on a Custom or API plan, reach out to your Account Manager
