How to set what kinds of email addresses you see
RocketReach gathers and tests as much contact data as possible for each profile. Depending on how you use the contact data, you may have a preference for what data you see, export, or use by default.

Overview
Looking up contacts, sending emails, and exporting with integration all involve working with email addresses and using credits. To ensure you are targeting the appropriate email address for your needs, and to help optimize your credit usage, please set your Email Type preference before doing these activities.

Please choose the appropriate Email Type option that best fits your current needs. You can change and save the Email Type freely without restrictions as your needs change!
- Professional email = A work email address, associated with current or past employer
- Personal email = A non-work email address, generally from a free/public email service
💡 When using the optional Messages step in Autopilot, the rules below apply EXCEPT emails will be sent only to A and A- email addresses. If the best available email address according to your settings is B grade, no email will be sent. |

❓What if my data needs change?
You can change this setting at any time to reflect your current data needs. However, please note that changing the setting will have no effect on contacts that you have already looked up. At this time, there isn't an easy way to change what type of email addresses are shown after the contact has been accessed. Please contact Support if you need additional help: support@rocketreach.co
