What is a CVV/CVC Number?

To purchase a RocketReach Plan, you will be required to provide your Debit/Credit card CVV ("Card Verification Value")  number.

CVV Numbers are verification values used as anti-fraud measures by credit card companies worldwide. It is a three or four-digit number, usually located on the signature panel on the back of most credit cards.

VISA®, MasterCard®, and Discover®, the CVV Number on your credit card or debit card is a 3-digit number typically located on the back of the debit card, to the right of your card number.

On your American Express® branded credit or debit card, the CVV number is a 4-digit numeric code, typically located on the front of the card.

CVV numbers are also known as CVC numbers ("Card Verification Code"), CSC numbers ("Card Security Code"), or CVV2 numbers, which are the same as CVV numbers, except that they have been generated by a 2nd generation process that makes them harder to "guess".
