Messages: Create, Edit, and Use Templates
Once you lookup or access contact data in RocketReach, you can also email the contacts without leaving RocketReach. Save your own email Templates in order to save time and easily email one or many contacts.

How to Save Templates
By preparing templates in advance, you'll always have the perfectly crafted message on hand to quickly reach out to new contacts.
1: Navigate to Messages
On the left-hand side navigation, click on Messages:
2: Open the Templates Section
In the top left corner of the Messages area, click on Templates:
3: Create and Save Your Template
- To start a new template, click Create New Template in the top right corner:
- Name your template and type out your message in the provided text box.
- Want some help with what to say? Use our AI Email Writer to generate a professional and engaging message!
- 💡PRO TIP: Use Variables to automatically insert the contact's name or company name to easily personalize emails for each recipient.
- Once you're happy with your message, click Save Template to store it for future use:
4: Use Your Template for Outreach
The next time you're sending a message, select your saved template to quickly populate the text, saving you time and effort.

❓ Can I include images or attachments?
To help you follow best practices for cold emails and achieve the best possible delivery rate, we omitted the ability to add attachments, images, and hyperlinks.
❓ How can I include my email signature?
The email template can be prepared with everything you want to say, including your signature block so recipients know how to contact you.
❓ What do the different buttons do?
In the template editor window below the text compose area, a row of buttons provides basic options for text formatting. If you're not familiar with an option, the easiest way to see what it does is to select some text in your message then click the button.
