Billing: Tax ID and VAT
Customers in countries where VAT applies can enter their Tax ID at checkout or in the Account Settings.

Qualifications
The Tax ID field applies only to customers with an active RocketReach subscription who have provided a billing address in one of the applicable countries listed below.
Countries: Australia, Canada, India, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and EU member countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden)
VAT at Checkout
When purchasing a new subscription or changing your plan, if you are paying by credit card you may enter your Tax ID in the provided field during checkout (image below).
IMPORTANT: You must enter the Tax ID during checkout and before completing payment in order to avoid additional tax charges on your purchase invoice. Collected taxes cannot be refunded after payment.
Corporate (Enterprise) customers who purchase through Sales should provide their Tax ID to their Account Executive for assistance.
Where to add your Tax ID
You can add/update the Tax ID at any time if you did not enter the Tax ID at checkout, or if your Tax ID has changed.
Open the Account Settings > Usage & Billing page and scroll down to the Subscription section. Type or paste your Tax ID in the field and click the button "Update VAT/Tax ID" to save.
Corporate (Enterprise) customers who purchased through Sales should contact their Account Manager for assistance.
VAT on the Invoice
Prior to October 16, 2024, RocketReach does not separately itemize VAT on invoices and receipts. However, we are in the process of registering, and we will begin collecting and reporting VAT in November 2024. Future invoices will reflect VAT.
FAQ & Troubleshooting
❓Will this change past invoices?
Saving a Tax ID to your account settings will affect only future invoices. Past invoices should not be altered per accounting best practices.
❓ Can I change my billing address?
Yes, you can update your saved billing address or payment information from Account Settings.
❓ I can't see the field for VAT/TAX ID.
The field will not be visible if you do not have an active subscription, if you use PayPal for payments, or if your billing address is not in an applicable country (see above).
❓ Can I get a refund for the VAT that was charged?
You must enter your Tax ID into the billing info field prior to completing the checkout process. Once the payment has been processed, RocketReach is unable to provide a refund for VAT. However, please add the Tax ID to your account settings to avoid being charged VAT on future invoices.
